TOXICOKINETICS

  • Carbamates are absorbed through skin, lungs and gastointestinal tract.
  • They are widely distributed in the body and are rapidly metabolised.
  • Sulphate conjugation and glucuronide conjugation occur.
  • Excreted in urine, faeces and milk.
  • Carbamates are less toxic to warm blooded animals.
