• Diagnosis is based on history and clinical signs.
• Clinical signs may vary, but there should be an indication of hemorrhage or swellings.
• Laboratory evaluation of clotting parameters and chemical detection of specific anticoagulants in biological fluids, vomitus, or baits also helps in diagnosis.
