4.1.4.5 Hybrid Topology
Two or more of the above topologies may be combined to form what is known as the hybrid topology. Due to the multiplicity of paths available, data can be routed around failed links or busy nodes. Although this topology is expensive, some organisations prefer it due to its high reliability. |
