7.3.4.Vaccines

An ideal vaccine is relatively inexpensive to produce, easy to administer, safe and effective. The vaccines may be whole cell preparations or subunit antigens. Microorganisms, either killed or attenuated are administered through appropriate routes at appropriate intervals.
