7.3.8.Routes of administration of vaccines in fish

The vaccines are administered to the fish in a number of ways. These include injection, immersion, hyper osmotic infiltration, bath, spray and oral modes. The immersion method is the choice of vaccination route since it causes less stress to the animal, it can reach all animals, both large and small and can be given to small and large fishes alike.
