Motivational process

Motivation is the result of an interaction between human needs and initiatives. A person feels motivated when available incentives lead to the satisfaction of his/her motives or needs. Various steps in the process of motivation are described below.

Awareness of need is the first step in the motivational process. Motives are directed towards, the realization of certain goals, which in turn determine human behaviour. This behaviour leads to goal directed behaviour. In order to satisfy and achieve goal, individual looks for a suitable action. He develops certain goals and makes an effort to achieve them.
