Selecting problems to be tackled with due consideration to priorities

PROGRAMME PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION 2(1+1)

Selecting problems to be tackled with due consideration to priorities

The problems on basis of priority are selected by the team of extension workers, village leaders and village institutions and organizations. These problems need to be tackled in different phases with serious and concentrated efforts. Efforts need to be specified so that the rural people get convinced about the utility of the programme. It is also essential that the programme committees set up at village and block levels need to continuously review and monitor the progress of the projects that are running to see which projects are completed and which new projects can be started. This would provide opportunities for selecting problems for programme planning in a more appropriate manner.
