The various columns as shown above in the plan of work are explained as

  • Project- the projects are stated in the same order as in the programme
  • Immediate goals- indicate how the plan is expected to progress towards the final objectives stated in the programme. Each project is broken down into other small goals, to achieve the main goal.
  • Teaching methods- this includes the various methods of instruction which the extension workers consider will be of most useful in teaching the people.
  • Time table- Not necessary to state the dates but is advisable to state the months in which each step in the project will be undertaken, so that work can be planned in advance and a check kept on the rate of progress being made in each project.
  • Equipment and material needed- these are to be mentioned for each step of the project.
  • Project leaders and staff responsible- who are responsible for local leadership, technical help and other requirements in carrying out the project.
