Shredded products

  1. The wheat whole grain is used.
  2. It is cleaned and cooked in boiling water and steam for 30-35 minutes until it changes from starchy white to translucent grey and starch is fully gelatinized.
  3. The cooked grain is cooled to room temperature and allowed for moisture equilibration.
  4. The conditioned grain is fed into shredders consisting of metal rollers. One is smooth and the other has grooves.
  5. The material emerges as a long parallel shred and is baked at 260ÂșC for 20 minutes.
  6. The shredded products are made from wheat, maize, rice or oats.
