The foods in each of the 11- groups are given below.

  1. Milk, cheese and ice-cream.
  2. Meat, poultry and fish.
  3. Eggs.
  4. Dry beans, peas and nuts.
  5. Flour, cereals and baked foods.
  6. Citrus, fruits and tomatoes.
  7. Dark green and deep yellow vegetables.
  8. Potatoes.
  9. Other vegetables and fruits.
  10. Fats and oils and
  11. Sugar, syrup and preserves.
