Crayon resist

To make a resist drawing, the child first draws a picture on paper with light colour crayons (white, yellow or cream) pressing hard. Then the child can paint the picture with water colour specially dark one. The dark color fills in all the areas that the crayon has not covered. In the areas covered with crayon, the crayon “resist”, or is not covered by the paint. Crayon resist gives the feeling of a night picture.
