Reinforcement procedures

By using judicious use of positive reinforcement the examiner can influence the child’s behavior. Positive reinforcement is the presentation of a stimuli after a behavior that increases the likelihood of the behavior being performed again. The positive reinforcement includes
  • Opportunity to engage in preferred activity
  • Use of edible rewards
