Lesson 11 : Types of planning

Unit Planning

It is the regular planning specific to each unit’s operation. Unit planning goes on in the food service unit, the classrooms, the transportation unit, and so on. Staffing patterns will determine authority in those units. The entrepreneur delegate responsibility for planning to staff members who are qualified to carry out the responsibility. Example for food unit what to prepare, how to prepare, how much to prepare, who will be monitored will be planned and handed over to one staff member for regular monitoring and functioning of the unit. Similarly technical unit, classroom equipping unit, transportation unit etc should be handled by the staff.
