People Maintenance and enrichment are at the very heart of a worthwhile early childhood education programme.

• Should have good interpersonal skills and understand their own interpersonal skills.
• Should analyze their own managerial styles and determine their strengths and weaknesses.
• Should have good leadership skills.
• Should support the team to work effectively, efficiently and positively with one another and with clients.
• Plans wisely and visit each classroom, to greet each staff member and acknowledge their efforts and success.
• Provide honest, sensitive feedback to teachers.
• Remembers and relates to events and incidents that are significant to staff, children and families.
• Care for others. Ask for their ideas and opinions, encourage them to try new methods and provide positive feedback.
• Should have work orientation skills.
