Lesson 26: Records and Reports maintained in ECE center

The aim of an ECE center is to promote the overall development of the child. An Early childhood teacher should observe and monitor the overall development of the child and record it regularly. This would give an insight to the teacher to identify or understand the strengths and weaknesses of the child to plan education accordingly (based on his ability and interests). This is also useful to promote him to the next class according to his growth and development. Hence all the ECE teachers should know the importance of records and reports and should develop the skill of maintaining them.
