Types of Recreation

In the field of child creation, the environment of the state governments and some of the voluntary organization will organize programmes. They are in the nature of Bal Bhavans Holiday homes, Youth Hostels. Play centres, libraries/clubs etc.

Recreational facilities are provided by social welfare agencies through institutions. The term ‘Recreational Institutions ‘therefore covers all such institution which provide recreation in an organized form, with regularity is programme, building and equipment specially designed to meet the needs of the beneficiaries and opportunities for group activities.
