• The famous gardens are on the bank of Dal Lake, namely Shalimar, Nishat Bagh and Chasma – e – Shahi.
• Other popular gardens are at Achabal, Verinag and Bijebehara.
• The most spectacular features of these gardens are the planting of the majestic Chenar trees in groups
