Japenese Style Gardens, New Delhi

Japanese style garden

• Dr.M.S. Randhawa in 1958 visited and invited the famous Japanese architect professor K.Mori who stayed in India for four months and selected some sites and prepared the design and laid the Roshanara Park Delhi, the first Japanese style garden

Rock garden

• The common features of a Japanese garden like rivulets, waterfalls, ponds with stepping stones, wooden bridge etc.are incorporated in these gardens.
