Rose Garden

• The garden is spread over an area of 15 hectare plot situated in the centre of the city Chandigarh.
• A natural stream runs through it and the land on the banks of the stream is undulating and has natural curves.

Roses along the Stream

• The area adjoining the stream has been planted with a large number of scented cultivars, which fill the whole area with exquisite fragrance
• The garden is designed to contain about 60,000 roses.
• It is contemplated to collect about 5,000 outstanding cultivars of roses.
• To preserve this natural landscape, the garden has been laid in the most informal and natural manner.
• A moonlight garden was planted with only pure-white scented roses
