Factors Influencing On Time Use

1. The efficiency in using time is broadly based on the concept importance a person or family holds for it.


2. Economic and social states: A person who high economic and social status is usually required to participate in the community welfare activities, social activities etc which demands proper time plan.


3. Education: The education plays a major role in effective time plan and usage it is a known fact that an educated person understand the importance of time and can take better decision is time use.


4. Areas/Distance the locality in which a person lines does have an impact in the use of time Example: Distance between residence and market educational institutions, job place etc.


5. Special interest and creative activities: If a person is talented and interested in any creative activities he/she may not mind spending time for those activities that give satisfaction and relaxation to them.


6. Congenial conditions: while playing any role either in home or outside a congenial, comfortable environment with innovative, simple, operating work simplification equipment will enable a housewife to use her time efficiently she can conserve time for other activities.


7. Health, age and sex: A healthy young individual is generally energetic and his capacity is doing a job is faster when impaired to an old person though woman have equality right in par with men yet their potentials are not fully recognized in most of the families because of this she may face hurdles and stress in time management.


8. Family size: size of the family is factors which affects the time spent in home making.


9. Division of labour: When the family activities are shouldered by all members in the family the time burned is reduced on the homemaker.
