Conclusion

The sleeve of a garment is made to cover the arm portion of the wearer. Perfect sleeve is very important for functional as well as aesthetic purpose. The pattern of the sleeve is one of the characteristics of fashion in dress, varying in every country and period. Any number of sleeve designs can be developed from a single basic sleeve silhouette. Once a pleasing basic sleeve has been produced, it may be faced, piped and trimmed in countless ways. There are many different styles of sleeve e.g. Bishop sleeve, Bell-shaped sleeve, etc.
