Conclusion

A collar of a garment that encircles the neck and frames the face, offer great opportunities for design variations. The neck arrangement serve as a frame for the face; and therefore, the style of hair dressing, the contour and poise of the head, affect the design of the collar. Collars developed close or away from the neckline. are wide, narrow, flat or high, and with or without an attached stand. The collar edge may be stylized or may follow a basic shape like round, curved, scalloped, square, or pointed.
