Lesson 13:Twill weave

Direction of twill

When the diagonal line starts from upper left to lower right – Left hand twill
If it is from upper right hand to lower left – Right hand twill

The direction of twill can only aid in recognizing the face of the fabric. Left hand twill is found in cotton and cotton-like fabric while right hand twill is found in wool and wool-like fabrics.
