Top dyeing

Top is the combed slivers of long wool fibers. Tops are wound into balls, placed on perforated spindles and enclosed in a tank for dyeing to take place. After dyeing, when different coloured tops are combined and further processed into yarns, interesting results are obtained in the fabric.
