Package Dyeing

For weaving on powerlooms, yarn is wound onto packages. They can be wound on spools, cones or similar units. These packages are stacked on perforated rods in a rack and then immersed in a tank. Forcing the dye in the tank, helps it to penetrate well. Mostly, carded and combed cotton which are used for knitted outerwear is dyed in this method.
