Lesson 28: Dyeing Methods

Introduction

Colour can be applied to textiles at any stage in the production process. Each process of dyeing requires a specific dye bath or liquor, and equipment designed for that particular method. The processes are monitored carefully to control the rate of dyeing and the amount of colour or strike of the dye onto the fiber.
