COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is designed to give an overview of various aspects of fisheries to the veterinary students. The objectives of this course are

  • To impart knowledge on
    • Fishes and their classification based on morphology, habitats, feeding and breeding 
    • Anatomy, physiology and immunology of fishes
    • Management methods to be followed for fish culture and breeding
    • Diseases in fishes and their management
