  • Kidney: Hyaline droplets in the tubular epithelial cells, hyaline casts in the tubular lumen, vacuolation, and hypertrophy of tubular epithelial cells, necrosis of tubular epithelial cells.Dilation of kidney tubules with exfoliation of tubular epithelial cells, accumulation of macrophage aggregates
  • Liver : Depletion of glycogen PKX-cells1, inflammation, fibrotic changes surrounding parasitic cysts
  • Gills: Focal proliferation of epithelial cells of primary and secondary lamellae, hyperplasia of mucous cells, hydropic degeneration of respiratory epithelial cells, necrosis of epithelial cells,focal inflammation
  • Spleen: Proliferation of reticuloendothelial cells, lymphocytic depletion, increased erythrophagia, fibrotic changes surrounding parasitic cysts
