CONTROL MEASURES

• Infected birds should be removed and treated or destroyed and all carcass either disinfected using a Phenolic (5% Lysol) or Iodophor compound.
• Clinical handling sick bird should be taken adequate precautions (masks and gloves)
• Formaldehyde gas fumigaction of the infected premises is advised.
