KALICEPHALUS SP. IN PYTHONS

  • Small to medium sized strongyle worms are the routine inhabitants in the alimentary tracts. The eggs are transparent, thin shelled, oval with developing larvae inside.
  • These worms are highly resistant to routine anthelmintics and several generations of these nematodes occur in reptiles at a given period of time. Because of their complex lifecycle, its very difficult to completely eradicate these strongyles from the reptiles.
