VLD 421: Veterinary Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Diagnosis-II (0+1)

PROCEDURE 

• Place 12 agglutination ( Dryer's) tubes in a rack.
• Add 0.8 ml of diluent to the first tube and 0.5 ml to the remaining tubes.
• Add 0.2 ml of serum to the first tube. Mix well and transfer 0.5 ml to the 2^nd tube.
• Mix thoroughly and transfer 0.5 ml to the third tube and continue this process upto 10^th tube.
• Discard 0.5 ml from the last tube.
• Add 0.5 ml of plain antigen to all the tubes. Mix and incubate at 37 C for 24 hours.
• Keep negative and positive controls.
