PRINCIPLE - PLATE AGGLUTINATION TEST

• When particulate antigen is mixed with antibodies in the presence of electrolyte at suitable temperature and pH the particulate antigen clumps, to form agglutination.
• Particle should have size > 25 nm to produce a visible reaction.
