Symposium

Short series of lectures usually by two to five speakers each with different viewpoints.

  • Each one speaks for a definite amount of time and presents a different phase or sub-division of the general topic.
  • The topic should be large enough or general enough to permit two or more sub-divisions by speakers.
  • The subject may or may not be controversial
  • Speeches may be followed by a forum to facilitate mastery of information.
  • Two or more experts present different phases of the topic.
