It is a question period in which members of the audience may ask questions or make brief statements. It is usually a discussion period that is followed after seminar, panel, debate, symposium.

1. Usually two volunteers selected from audience.
2. Discuss a question on which they may or may not have opposite views.
3. Followed by discussion.
