Observation of cognitive developmental of infants (7-12 months)

Introduction: During this period provide a wide range of experiences like pegging, picking up cubes and blocks for concept formation. Form board for concept of round and square board, wooden blocks for stacking etc to facilitate cognitive skills. The care giver needs to provide a rich environment with lots of play material, picture books. Picture books that are colourful and attractive are good source of fun and amusement.

Aim: To understand the cognitive abilities of infants in the age range of 6-12 months.

Objectives:

  1. To develop the skill to observe the cognitive milestones of infants in the age range of 6-12 months.
