Lesson 2 : Design As Process

Introduction

The term design find use in creative fields in two ways as follows:

• as a noun; where it represents the final product/ creation as a result of an effort or an intended ar­rangement of elements i.e., the outcome
• as a verb; where it represents the procedure followed in development of a product, i.e., process

As any other process, designing involves series of stages resulting in product creation and its evaluation.
