Comparatively this is much smaller than consumer advertising. Industrial product is bought by a very elaborate buying process through a number of variables. The end product here is a combination of many manufactured and bought out parts. Many components lose their identity in the end product. The basic appeals used are rational and mostly emotional. Trade journals, catalogues, brochures, direct mail etc., are used as media .
