Pickles

Meaning: The fruits and vegetables specially the acidic fruits are mixed with salt and spices and covered with oil.The low acid fruits and vegetables are also used for pickle preparation cured with salt and added with vinegar, citric acid or lime juice.

Types: Mango pickle, lime pickle, anola, green chillies and mixed vegetable pickles
