They involve contacting more than one person at a time. After gaining initial rapport, parents or the group members in the community could be called for an informal or formal meeting, where many issues pertaining to the ECE programme and its effect on the development of the child could be discussed. Parents should be made to understand the need for their participation and contribution for the smooth functioning of the programme. They could be encouraged to send their children regularly to the school, providing raw material for conducting play activities, sharing the responsibilities of the teacher, who is taking care of their children’s needs etc.
Special lectures also can be arranged based on the needs of the group to educate them on different aspects of child’s growth and development.
