Community institutions and Parent involvement in child care

  • Churches and Temples: Many religious institutions currently provide facilities for early child care programmes. They will offer family counseling service to the parents regarding child’s care.
  • Hospitals and Clinics: The children’s hospitals send a lady every week to bring ideas and encouragement to parents of young patients. Their goal is improving early learning and emotional development of the children.
  • Community resources: Libraries- resource center for films and literature on how children grow, help parents with ideas and techniques for childrearing and educating.
