The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development reinforcing its ongoing support for programmes benefiting children of the developing world. A study on early childhood will be published during IYC as well as on the demographic situation and children’s position in 20 industrialized countries, a document on policies towards the early childhood with a view to their future development, a study on social services for children and a study on governmental costs with regard to policy programmes for the child. Inter-Governmental conference and seminars on policies and services for children as well as a meeting 0+ donor countries on the effects of external aid for the benefiting children in developing countries have also been organized.
