Lawn

• A lawn is an element of garden design.
• They make a landscape attractive and give a restful appearance.
• Lawns provide an appropriate setting for planting materials and different kinds of flowerbeds and shrubberies.
• In a landscape design, a large area of fine texture is needed to set off smaller areas of more vigorous pattern and texture.
• A grass lawn is the commonest and most conventional of all ground cover treatments in an average garden.
