Architectural sections

• Sections show how various elements are to be constructed or show the materials to be used.
• To give this information imaginary cuts are made through the area to be described and surfaces revealed are drawn – called section drawings.
• The location of the sections is indicated with a letter or number of the sheet upon which they are drawn.
