Transfer paper

Transfer paper can also be used but some method of transferring the image onto the rendering surface. Coloured papers which are highly textured on one side can be used be used for pictures that do not need much rendering. Pencils, pens, coloured pencils, markers, pastel paints can be used. The colour of the paper can also act as a background colour and only highlights, dark values and shadows can be rendered to enhance the rendering. (Fig – 4) Some coloured papers are textured and when these are used for rendering a rainy effect can be produced. But highly textured water colour papers are not suitable for detailed design rendering. The output on various rendering surfaces and media can be seen in Fig – 5.
