Types of tessellations

There are two types of tessellations, mentioned below:

• Regular tessellations: Pattern made by repeating a single regular polygon is called regular tessellations (Fig.9.13).
  
  

  
  

  
  
• Semi- regular tessellations: Pattern made by repeating two or more regular polygon is called semi-regular tessellations (Fig.9.14).
