WHITE BLOOD CELLS
  • An abnormally high total number of WBCs is termed leukocytosis.
  • Low number of WBCs is termed leucopenia.
  • Abnormally low number of all types of WBCs is panleucopenia.
  • Leukocytosis is due to an increased number of neutrophils and leukocytes.
  • Leukocytosis is due to a decrease number of neutrophils.
