  • Large amount of water enter (hypotonic nature)
  • Lungs
  • Absorbed rapidly in to blood stream
  • Hypervolemia
  • Haemodilution
  • Anoxia caused by dilution of haemoglobin associated with RBCs
  • Ventricular fibrillation
  • Haemolysis of erythrocytes
