COLLECTION OF BLOOD SAMPLES

• Blood samples can be obtained form the cephalic vein, the jugular vein or the saphenous vein, in which case the dog is restrained in lateral recumbency.
• Medium to larger sized dog may be backed into a corner by an assistant who straddles the dog and hold the head up, or holds a limb.
