Pentachlorophenol (PCP)

  • Nervousness, weakness, muscle tremors, anorexia, lethargy followed by hyper pyrexia, cyanosis, collapse, terminal convulsions and death. Signs of dermal exposure include erythema, dermatitis and acne. Hyperkeratosis also develops.
  • Chronic exposure: Fever, Abortions, still birth, foetal malformations and anemia.
