Songs have a special power to please people of all ages especially children. Children do love songs but those are of a special character. Songs must be specially tuned to please them. This also offers avenue of expression to children which closely relates to that of language. A song when sung voluntarily conveys the signs of happiness and a song with pleasing tones brings children to happy state of mind and engages them more and more specially in rhythmic activities. Music also has the same quality to bring pleasure to children. When a song is accompanied by music it further enhances its influence on children. The centers can have also a music party set by children themselves. When the children will have a band (Music) party of their own they can enjoy it and have the pride of doing so by themselves. Low cost and no cost materials like coconut shells, cold drink bottle lids, metal plates, bamboo trunk and sticks can also be very well used to improvise as a music set.
Dancing simple dances is also quite enjoyable and helpful in bringing proper physical development. It would bring co-ordination among different larger and finer muscles. Activities like songs, music and dances will make the centre more lively and bring more pleasure to the children.
